1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup onion, finely diced
4 teaspoons minced garlic
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
juice of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon finely minced flat leaf parsley
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the butter stops foaming, add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes. Then, add the garlic and shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes, until shrimp is completely done. Then add the lemon juice and the parsley and remove from heat.
